This whole execution still lends a great horror atmosphere, though.
You’ll have to actually explore and find key items to unlock the ending as it won’t prompt you to achieve it. However, the plot itself doesn’t hold your hand too much. As a SOLIS tractor dealer, youll be putting your business name next to the World leader. Solis’ gameplay of using routers and power conduits to figure out where to go next is also pretty neat, as it ensures that you won’t get too lost in exploring. Another thing is that everything is fully dark without any light sources and sound is a huge factor here.
For one, your vision is partially blocked by the interiors of your spacesuit’s helmet-simulating more of the sci-fi elements but also not giving you full control of your sight. What’s interesting about this game is that it tends to hinder your senses in order to retain the creepy and foreboding atmosphere. There seem to be no signs of life coming from it but you decide to investigate. It was just another normal day for you at the Outer Rim and you were about to head home when suddenly, you found a ship just standing out there. Praise for Engage Brian Solis has shown once again his deep understanding of the power of new media. The app has gone from rough but useable to unsteady and unreliable. I hope the big fixes were worth it because I feel we’ve taken a step to 5yrs ago with everything else. This was also lost on the latest update and I cannot fathom why. It also used to show you the rough amount of battery charge and solar performance of your relay on the home page via a circle round each category (Total Yield, Total Charge, Today to Grid, Today Consumption). Finally, from a user-interface point of view, it used to show you a percentage of peak performance of your relay - this is now stuck at 0.01% even in glorious sunshine. The daily Consumption figure is now fixed at 1kWh (our usual is 8kWh), what’s worse is it has applied this retrospectively to all data before the update - useless! The Generation data has lost the breakdown of how much went to battery and how much was used in the house, even more useless. The app wasn’t anywhere near perfect before the May 2023 update but it has now got even worse.
